Minute of Your Time

There’s no such thing as a pleasant surprise,
But I’m sure there’s pleasant ways to die,
If you gave a minute of your time,
We could see the world
I’d swim through the oceans of your eyes.

Tell me what you dream about
Oh, They’re flying out the door
.

I sleep and find my castle in the air,
Fall to earth and roam nowhere,
Find a way back home before I wake,
Forget it all and go about my way.

Tell me what you dream about,
Oh, They’re flying out the door
.

This is nothing new,
To lose your seat and sit in between
The birds on the roof,
To sell your soul and what you know
To live up to your shame,
I won’t rest until my dreams are dead from
Carrying all my weight,
No I won’t rest
I’ll lay in bed and
Think of what to make of myself.

I sleep and find my castle in the air,
Fall to earth and roam nowhere,
Find a way back home before I wake,
Forget it all and go about my way.
